Alban Arena is a theatre and music venue in the historic centre of St Albans, UK.
This place is the centre of culture in St Albans from the 1970s until today. Here past concerts of rock bands have been staged, such as Dire Straits in 1978,[2] and Jethro Tull in 2010 .
Over the Christmas period of 2004, the pantomime Aladdin was staged with participation Michelle Bass,[3] The December 2005 show was Peter Pan with Leslie Grantham and Dani Harmer,[4] and in 2009 The Little Mermaid with Sarah-Jane Honeywell.[5]
In 2007 St Albans Festival with the International Organ Festival took place.[note 1]
On April 10, 2011, the original Bill Haley's New Comets finished their Remember Bill Haley Tour 2011 with Haley's daughter Gina Haley at the Arena.
